Physical Education and Extra curricular
Westwood International School offers Physical Education classes from Reception up until Year 11. These classes all follow a well-defined curriculum which shows progression from the Primary Years Programme to the Middle Years Programme. The Middle Years Programme begins in Year 7 and ends with the completion of the ePortfolio in Year 11. The main focus of the Physical Education classes is to develop skills and provide students with the opportunity to lead a balanced lifestyle.
Westwood International School offers a wide range of Extra-Curricular activities which cater for the needs of all our students. These activities include a variety of sports, other activities as well as a good range of both cultural and service learning activities. Some of the activities and sports offered at Westwood International school are: Swimming, Cricket, Chess, Netball, Soccer, Basketball, Girls’ Soccer, Softball, Archery, Taekwondo, Bricks for kids and International Club. Both the Primary and Secondary schools are affiliated to CHOPS and ISSSA which provide countrywide fixtures and opportunities for competitions against other schools. All cultural and service learning activities are facilitated by the staff of the school.
